To Our Senior Community, 

In an abundance of caution and to protect all residents of Manalapan Township, all Senior Center programming will remain suspended until further notice due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Senior programming will resume when guidance from federal, state, county & township agencies deem it safe and approve our operations to start back up. Please note, that the Senior Center staff is available by phone at 732-446-8401 throughout this period to help connect our senior community with services. We can also be reached by email at seniorcenter@mtnj.org Most importantly, we wish for all of our seniors to be safe, stay healthy and know that we look forward to offering our programming at the Manalapan Senior Center as soon as possible.

  • Service Area: The Manalapan Senior Citizens’ Center serves the residents of Manalapan Township who are 60 years of age or older and their families.
  • Mission Statement: Our mission is to maintain a premier facility, and resource center, for educational, recreational, wellness and nutritional programs as well as volunteer opportunities, transportation, counseling and support services for seniors and their caregivers. Our goal is to meet the needs of the population to ensure quality of life, to promote physical, emotional, and economic well-being and to encourage participation in all aspects of community life.

  • Recreational Programs-Activities such as crafts, parties, bingo, games, group meetings, dance and exercise classes and monthly feature movies are available.
  • Educational Programs-Continuing education for seniors and their families is promoted through speakers and classes
