Pandemic and Avian Influenza

Tuesday, August 26 the Manalapan MRC-CERT will host a
presentation on Pandemic and Avian Influenza. The presentation
will start at 6:30 pm in the Township Committee meeting room and
is open to anyone with interest.

Raising Awareness of Ovarian Cancer
On Friday, September 5 there will be a presentation on Ovarian
Cancer. On of our own residents – Fran Goldenberg – is active with
the Kaleidoscope of Hope (KOH) organization, which is an
organization dedicated to raising awareness of ovarian cancer and
bringing attention to the need for more research on this disease.
The KOH organization was formed in Morris County in 2000 and has
expanded its activities throughout the State. Fran is an active
member on the Township’s Domestic Violence Response team and will
share her personal experiences with this disease.

Third quarter property taxes are due on August 1, 2008. The third
quarter grace period has been extended to August 26, 2008.

interest charged from the original due date of August 1st (NJSA

Commission may be applying pesticides for the control of adult
mosquito populations on an area-wide basis, as needed, throughout
