Attention Residents – Upcoming Road Closures – Tennent Rd., Kipling Way, Taylors Mills
New Jersey Natural Gas is continuing their project of installing a new gas pipe in sections of Manalapan. Due to this project, there will be certain road closures in town.

Kipling Way will be closed between houses 14 and 15 beginning on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 7am until 7am the following morning. Residents will be able to go in and out of their driveways as normal.
On Wednesday, May 20, Taylors Mill Rd will be closed between Commack Lane and Blue Jay Court beginning at 7:00 PM and will reopen by 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 21.
Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, Tennent Road will be closed between Thomas Drive and Devon Drive. The closure is expected to be completed no later than 7am on Friday, May 29.
Entry to Thomas Drive and both entry points to Devon Drive will remain open and accessible during this period.
Detours will be in place for traffic at either end of the closures. Please follow all detour signs. Police officers will be stationed at different intersections to assist with traffic flow.
Manalapan schools and the Freehold Regional High School District are aware of the detours and will advise affected families of changes to pick up times and/or locations. Please contact the appropriate school transportation office with any questions about changes to bus pick up schedules during this period.
