Tax Bill Is Scheduled To Be Mailed on July 23, 2026.
The 2026 Final/2027 Preliminary tax bill will be mailed on July 23, 2026. The statutory due date for the third quarter tax payment is August 1. The Township of Manalapan permits a 10-day grace period perN.J.S.A. 54:4-67; however, due to the delayed mailing, the grace period is extended to August 18th as per N.J.S.A 54:4-66.3d.
To avoid interest charges, payments must be received in the Tax Office or left in the drop box by 4:00 p.m. on August 18.
Payments received after 4:00 p.m. on August 18th will accrue interest charges calculated from the statutory due date of August 1st.
If you receive a tax bill that says “THIS IS NOT A BILL – FOR ADVICE ONLY” and you are responsible for paying your taxes, please use the “for advice only bill” to make your tax payment and notify the Tax Collector at taxcollector@mtnj.org., to update your account.
You may make your tax payments by mail, online on our website, through your bank’s online bill pay service or place them in our drop box. The drop box is located on the left wall outside of the municipal building.
The Tax Collector’s regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payments left in the drop box after 4:00 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.
