Quarterly Tax Payment Reminder: The third quarter tax bill was mailed today, August 2. The statutory due date for the third quarter tax is August 1. The Township of Manalapan permits a 10-day grace period per N.J.S.A 54:4-67. The grace period was extended to August 29 as per N.J.S.A 54:4-66.3d.
The Tax Collector’s Office will have extended hours on Thursday, August 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
To avoid interest charges, payments must be received in our office or left in the drop box by 7:00 p.m. on August 29. Payments received after 7:00 p.m. will accrue interest charges calculated from the statutory due date of August 1.
You may make your tax payments by mail, online, through your bank online bill pay service or placed in our drop box. The drop box is located on the left wall outside of the municipal building.
The Tax Collector’s regular office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Payments left in the drop box after 4:00 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.
