We are expecting significant snowfall with blizzard conditions in our area Sunday into Monday. The Manalapan Township Police Department is asking for your cooperation in assisting the Township to facilitate the snow removal process.

We remind residents that vehicles must not be parked on the street during snow removal operations. If you do not have space in your driveway to accommodate your vehicles, the Englishtown Auction has generously offered to allow cars to park in their lot until the snow has stopped.  If you utilize this option you must move your vehicle within 24 hours of the end of the storm to allow for their lots to be cleared and plowed.

Any vehicles found to be left in the roadway, during the snow removal process, will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense, as per Manalapan Township Code # 226-31.

If you see cars parked on your street when the snow begins, please contact the non-emergent police line at 732-446-4300 so it can be addressed.

Garbage and bulk will NOT be collected on Monday, February 23rd.  For those with Monday collection, your garbage and bulk will be picked up on Thursday, February 26th.  Please do not place any garbage or bulk items at the curb for pick up as they will not be collected and can get in the way of the snow plow.

We are also expecting significant wind and blizzard like conditions. If you experience a power outage please call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) to report your outage or click the “Report Outage” link at www.firstenergycorp.com. You can also text the outage to JCP&L by sending a message to 544487.  Please report your outage even if you feel your neighbor has.

The Senior Center will be closed for all activities on Monday, February 23rd.
The Recycling Center will also be closed on Monday, February 23rd.

Please stay home and off the roads if you can during the storm, especially Sunday night into Monday.  Thank you for your cooperation and be safe!
