Please see below important information and updates as we continue to prepare for tomorrow’s predicted significant snowfall. 

Mayor Jack McNaboe will have a report on our local cable channel MTTN tonight after 6pm. You can find MTTN on Verizon 42 or 2142 and on Optimum channel 77. 

The Manalapan Police Department is still reminding all residents that vehicles must not be parked on the street during snow removal operations. The Police Department was out today in a variety of areas reminding residents of the need to remove all vehicles. If you see cars parked on the street when the snow begins please contact the non-emergent police line at 732-446-4300 so it can be addressed. 

The Englishtown Auction parking lot is available for those who need a place to move their cars and signs are posted in the lot to show the specific location.

Garbage and Bulk will not be collected for those with Monday collection, both will be collected on Thursday. No decision has been made yet about Tuesday’s collection but we will provide that information as soon as we have it. 

JCPL provided the following reminder for all residents:

JCP&L is preparing crews and urges customers to take precautions ahead of the storm. Please prepare for power outages in case they occur by charging phones and back up batteries. Keep flashlights close.  Customers can get information and updates from JCPL by enrolling at www.firstenergycorp.com/connect. If you experience an outage please call 1-888-554-4877. 

NJ Transit has advised: Due To Latest Forecasts of Impending Winter Storm Impacts, they will Temporarily Suspend all Bus, Light Rail and Access Link services at 4 a.m. Sunday, January 25th. Rail Service will be suspended at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 25th.

Please stay off the roads and allow DPW to clear them as safely as possible. Stay warm and stay safe.
